Films under control
Inventory, identification and careful handling of originals throughout the digitisation project.
INDUSTRIAL RADIOGRAPHIC FILM DIGITISATION
We digitise RT films and associated documentation at your premises, preserving the reference of every image.
We come
to your project site.
Every image linked to its weld,
drawing and documentation.
Images and metadata ready
for your document management.
01 THE SERVICE
A digital image adds value when you know which film it came from, which weld it relates to and where its documentation is.
That is why we treat the archive as a whole: originals, references, images and dossier. We work at the agreed location and organise the delivery for your team.
Inventory, identification and careful handling of originals throughout the digitisation project.
Links between film, weld, drawing, report and dossier, within the agreed scope.
Images, metadata and a delivery index structured for your project.
02 HOW WE WORK
A straightforward, controlled process carried out at your project site.

We check identification and the links between each film, weld, drawing and document. Incomplete references are clarified before proceeding.
We configure acquisition and film masks for each format. Where the equipment and procedure allow, we scan several small films simultaneously.
We review image completeness, readability and identification, together with system stability checks. We document issues and corrections.
We organise files and the traceability index to meet the client’s requirements. We support review and clarification through to completion of the agreed delivery.
03 THE DELIVERABLES
Images, a traceability index and related documentation.

QUALITY AND SAFEKEEPING
The quality of a digitisation project also depends on its references, records and how the originals are preserved.
Consistency between films, files and references. Ambiguous data is recorded and clarified.
Completeness and readability checks, with parameters and controls defined for the project.
Careful handling and organised return. Any transfer is agreed in advance.
Index review, issue recording and follow-up of agreed corrections.
05 APPLICATIONS
A service for organisations that need to turn their RT archives into accessible, structured information.

A searchable structure linking radiographic images to their equipment, lines and reference dossiers.
Indicative applications. Scope, configuration and requirements are assessed for each digitisation project.
06 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Answers to help you plan a digitisation project.
Our main service is on-site work at the agreed location, where we organise digitisation and documentation. Moving originals away from that location requires prior authorisation.
The scope may include DICONDE images, their metadata, an index linking films, welds and references, and associated documentation. Naming conventions, fields and delivery media are agreed with the client before work begins.
Yes, an additional TIFF delivery or another format supported by the project workflow can be considered. It must be agreed and compatible with applicable requirements. The image format and traceability index serve different purposes.
Digitisation converts and organises the existing radiographic record. A new interpretation of the weld is a separate task requiring its own scope, appropriately qualified personnel and a suitable procedure.
We review volume, film sizes, identification status, available documentation, access and working conditions. A sample or initial batch helps refine timing for the full process, from preparation through verification.
We record the issue and set it aside for clarification with the client’s contact. We do not fill in ambiguous references by assumption. The aim is to preserve a verifiable link between originals and digital files.
Repositories, access rights, delivery media and project confidentiality terms are agreed in advance. Information handling and any transfer must follow the client’s authorisations.
Location, approximate volume, formats, available documentation and expected dates. The required delivery structure and quality requirements also help. If some details are not yet final, we can begin with an archive assessment.
